Healthcare System (HealS)

The Across Healthcare System (HealS), a web based system to create, store, and modify sensitive hospital information through a secure network interface. The system automates many procedures, including doctors'/nurses' medical note consolidation, patient billing, and in-patient placement within the hospital. After examining a patient, doctors/nurses may contribute notes to a patient's record- the record contains all necessary patient information such as personal, medical history, doctors'/nurses' notes, etc.- which are accessible to the patient's doctor and any authorized nurses and/or staff. The medical record also has address, billing and insurance information; this information is only visible to administrative/billing personnel.
